    Real-Time/Embedded Software Developer

    Description

    Location: Rehovot

    SavorEat is a young and vibrant Food-Tech Startup. We are rapidly developing plant-based meat-replacement products which are made by fully automated solution, called Robo-chef.

    Our Robo-chef is a state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 solution, including fully connected Robot, cloud-based operating system, and Additive Manufacturing (AM) methods, which allow for customization of each food product to the specific customer’s requirements.

    we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Real-Time/Embedded Software Developer to run with us! 

    Main Responsibilities:

    • In charge of developing the low-level software layer for our next-gen robot chef machine!
    • Writing scalable, efficient code for communicating with different hardware components such as Thermocouples, step-motors, potentiometers, etc.
    • Providing code solutions that meet the tight schedule for making the entire machine work on-time!

    Requirements and Qualifications :

    • Must
      • 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on low-level development using C Language
      • Experience with Bare-Metal, FreeRTOS, Linux OS
      • Working in collaboration with developers of other disciplines as well as system engineers
      • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
      • Strong debugging skills
      • Experience working with hardware components such as Thermocouples, step-motors, potentiometers etc.
      • Experience with Git source control management
    • Nice to Have
      • Kernel development
      • B.Sc. in a relevant field (Software, Computer Science, or a similar degree).
      • Experience with high-level software technologies such as Node.js, Python
      • Experience with computer-vision technologies
      • Strong documentation and writing skills.
